Hevel launches 2nd stage of Niva solar power plant, capacity at 75 MW
MOSCOW, Dec 24 (PRIME) -- Russian power company Hevel, a joint venture between multi-industry holding Renova Group and state nanotechnology company Rusnano, has launched a second stage of the Niva solar power plant in the Astrakhan Region, driving the plant’s capacity to 75 megawatts (MW), Hevel said in a statement on Monday.
The plant has become Russia’s largest solar power plant by capacity, and its forecasted annual power production is 110 gigawatt-hours.
Hevel also plans to launch another 60 MW solar power plant in the region in 2019.
